Marvion Wilcox was born on September 16, 2002, and has dedicated his life to service, faith, and community uplift. A graduate of South Central High School (2020), he went on to complete his studies in Funeral Service Education at Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2025, preparing him for a career centered on compassion and care. Marvion is a full‑time employee of ECU Health Medical Center and serves part‑time with People’s Funeral Establishment in Washington, NC. He is a licensed and ordained Reverend within the Missionary Baptist Faith and an active Associate Minister at Hayes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He also contributes his gifts to the Music & Media Ministries of the Old Eastern Missionary Baptist Association and its Middle District Union.
Deeply committed to community service, Marvion volunteers with St. Peter’s Development Center food distribution, Community Crossroads Ministry, and local nursing home outreach, where he also serves on the board. His service extends to the Senior & Retirees Fellowship of local churches, the Civic Federal Credit Union Advisory Board, and the CENC Food Bank in Greenville, NC. Known for his warm personality and ability to connect with anyone he meets, Marvion is driven by a genuine love for people, particularly seniors and those who are most vulnerable. He is always willing to go the extra mile to support those in need.
Marvion is passionate about photography, divinity, and music. A self‑taught musician, he plays the piano, organ, and drums. He is also the visionary founder of Feeding the Soul, a faith‑based book club dedicated to spiritual growth and community fellowship. In addition to his ministry and community work, Marvion is a Certified Nursing Assistant and a commissioned Notary Public, further demonstrating his commitment to serving others in every capacity he can.
